One Little Windstorm...

...and the world goes catawumpus.  Only 15 posts to get to use my favorite word.

  1. Your poor flowers.
I was reading your earlier post about the gopher. It made me laugh and reminded me of the time a mole was driving my husband crazy destroying the lawn. He ran out one day with a shovel, stabbing at the ground. I'm sure our neighbors thought he was in the middle of a crime of some sort. He never did get that mole, but boy did it drive him crazy that summer.

  2. Luckily (or not, depending on your view of lawns), we killed ours off in anticipation of replacement. That didn't bode well for the poor orange as the gopher took its irritation out on it. Hopefully, your husband did enough to at least drive the mole to the neighbors.

  4. LOL....as I would say when I was teaching, "That's a pizzazz word!"
I think your flowers are wondering what the heck happened.

  6. Thank you everyone. My second favorite word is coagulate, just from the sound. Unfortunately, I probably won't get to use that one until I have a post related to my chain saw.

  7. Catawumpus is a great way to discribe things in the garden after a wind.
